South Maui Community Park Playground to Close Three Days for Renovation

WAILUKU, Maui, Hawai`i – November 16, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The County of Maui Dept. of Parks and Recreation announced that the South Maui Community Park Playground and upper parking area will be closed for renovations from Monday, Nov. 16 through Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; the parking lot only will open after 4 p.m. Partial closure of the playground area will take place Thursday, Nov. 19 through Monday, Nov. 30, 2015.

Work will include demolition of the existing whale feature and installation of replacement play features to enhance safety and playability of the playground. The playground will remain closed during demolition hours of 6 a.m. – 4 p.m., with the parking lot open after 4 p.m.
