New Lights to be Installed at Keopuolani Soccer Field

WAILUKU, Maui, Hawai`i – June 22, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The County of Maui Dept. of Parks and Recreation today announced a construction project to install lights at the Keopuolani Park Soccer Field #4 will commence July 6, 2015. Construction areas at Field #4 will be closed for safety reasons; however, the park will remain open for use.

The project will include excavating holes for the light pole footings, trenching to install conduits and minor demolition to asphalt and concrete to connect to the new lighting controls that will be located in the existing comfort station.

The public is asked to avoid the construction area and equipment at Field #4. To ensure public safety, the area is expected to be closed from July 6 to October 31, 2015.

The contractor for the project is Paul’s Electrical Contracting, LLC; total construction cost is $431,049.
